In Dave the Diver, players encounter various underwater quests that require careful exploration and strategic planning. One of the most engaging side quests involves locating and rescuing a lost beluga whale in the icy depths of the Glacial Area. Navigating this frigid region can be tricky, but understanding the steps required makes saving the friendly marine mammal much easier.
Unlocking the Glacial Area Quest
Before players can search for the missing beluga, they must first gain access to the Glacial Area by progressing through the main story. Once the region is unlocked, visiting the Sea People Village will trigger interactions regarding the lost creature. Ramo's pet beluga has wandered off into dangerous waters, requiring Dave's help to bring it back safely.
Locating the Missing Beluga
The missing beluga is hidden inside one of the glacial caves located on the left side of the Glacial Area. Players should descend carefully while monitoring their oxygen levels and keeping an eye out for aggressive arctic predators. Once inside the correct cave system, players will find the beluga trapped by aggressive marine life.
Defeating the Predators and Securing the Beluga
To rescue the beluga, players must eliminate the aggressive poseidon jellyfish surrounding the trapped animal. Using long-range weapons like the Sniper Rifle or Tranquilizer Dart is recommended to avoid unnecessary damage. After clearing the threat, interacting with the beluga will allow Dave to escort it back safely, completing the rescue mission and unlocking valuable rewards.
